“ I am usually VERY suspicious of super large takeout portions, mostly because you question the actual quality of the ingredients. I cannot say that this is the case for A & C, I feel as though the price accurately corresponds with what you get. If I remember correctly I got a massive serving of pork fried rice and a order of sesame chicken for around 20. The pork fried rice filled a clamshell takeout container. The fried rice was packed full of quality cuts of meat, eggs, and vegetables. I certainly will be getting this again sometime soon. The sesame chicken was not what I was expecting, but it too was delicious. They serve it how many other Chinese places serve sweet and sour chicken, fried chicken tenders with the sauce on the side. As someone that has had plenty of chicken of the like, I can say with confidence that this is definitely top tier. I often check restaurants health inspection ratings before going, and I found that A & C has consistently scored right around 95 for several years, you cannot get much more hygienic than that. Do not let the location of this fine establishment turn you off, it is (in my opinion) one of the best Chinese food restaurants in Charlotte! ”
